3-ish weeks back home with my favourite people🏠🫶🏻✨🇨🇦 There has been lots of family time♥️✨ // puppy snuggles🐾 // baking🍎🥧 // hot yoga🧘🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♂️🔥 // and goats (for some unexplainable reason🐐)

Getting to experience the magic of Alaska for the first time this summer, was truly as incredible as I hoped it’d be🤍🏔️✨ Being a crew member on cruise ships, it’s normally so rare to be able to immerse myself in nature consistently during my contracts, but being in Alaska over the last (almost) 4 months made it so easy🌲 From hiking🥾 , to spotting countless whale tails from the gym during workouts at sea🐋, getting to witness salmon swimming upstream 🌊, eyeing some big teddy bears🐻, and even walking on a glacier🧊 (not to mention doing what I love the most; singing & playing my heart out onstage every night)… My time on the @carnival Spirit was a dream🌙✨ Thank you to @carnivalentertainment for the opportunity to experience my first full Alaskan season as a soloist, and as always, thank you to our amazing @carnival guests♥️ I’ve loved every minute of ‘sing-a-long-ing’ with y’all 🎸✨ I have the best job in the world🥹😭 2 ships in less than 1 year, with 4 weeks of vacation in between… I’m so excited to be sticking around 🇨🇦 for a minute, to love on my dogs and my favourite people! Carnival Spirit family!!! I love you guys!!! See you on the next one🥹🥲🫶🏻💋

The last 3 months have been made up of so many incredible adventures🫶🏻💫✨ Getting to be a part of @carnival Luminosa’s repositioning cruise, and getting to sail all the way from Australia🇦🇺, through to Japan🇯🇵, and back to the states🇺🇸 was an absolute dream🛳️✨ I can honestly say, I’ve never felt so thankful, I’ve never felt so proud, and I’ve never been so happy to get my nails done after a contract💅🏻😂 (girl guitarist problems, IYKYK)… ALSO, I never thought I would have accumulated so many pictures of crab legs over the last 3 months, but here we are🦀🙃😂 (Looking at my Japan/Alaska photos at a glance makes my camera roll look like a Red Lobster menu😂🌊🦞) To Lumi’s incredible @carnivalentertainment team, and of course, the incredible guests that kept coming back night after night to sing along: I miss you already💔🥲 Looking forward to seeing y’all on another ship someday soon!🥰 Thank you to everyone who made these last voyages so special💋✨ NEXT UP: Carnival Spirit from June 17th-September 26th!!!!! Some Hiroshima snaps🇯🇵✨ So much dark history in that city, yet the vibes and people were so upbeat and beautiful… Side note: I’m currently browsing the internet for hibachi grills that are for sale, ‘cause we tried Hiroshima’s signature dish; ‘Okonomiyaki,’ and I realized I’m gonna need to eat that a couple times a week to reach the most maximum level of happiness possible🥲✨ Also, I wonder if authentic Japanese hibachi chefs know about Benihana, and how the American hibachi cooks make onion volcanoes, and try to throw shrimp in the mouths of the people they’re cooking for, as party tricks???🤔 Asking for a friend…

Gonna be wild getting to dock in my own country as a port of call🇨🇦✨ Talk about there being a first time for everything! So freakin’ ready to be back rockin’ with our amazing @carnival cruisers!🛳️🧜🏻‍♀️ I’ve missed y’all🤘🏻💋

Looking forward to seeing y’all on some ships and at some shows in the new year! 🛳️💋 ‘Till then, I’ll be soaking up some more family time here in Canada🇨🇦 I gotta ask… Why doesn’t anyone prepare you for how extra magical Christmas is when you’re an auntie???🥲 We made it a Grinchy Christmas around here, since my nephew is obsessed!🥹 I’ll admit, I selfishly made him Grinch cookies only so I could be like “Brody who’s this on the cookie?” And then hear him say “The Gwinch” in his cute little voice🥲🙃 💯 worth it. The dogs and I can’t wait to get the giant Grinch out of the living room though, not gonna lie. I haven’t made a post like this in awhile, so here goes nothin’🤍✨ Lately, I’ve been finding myself comparing the way I’m currently living my life, to the way I used to live when anorexia/bulimia was dimming my light. To be honest, I think the changes in routine that come with travelling, trigger me to notice the differences between these two phases of my life, just because my way of existing back then is so drastically opposite of how I choose to exist now. On my latest adventures, I spent a lot of time thinking about how far I’ve come in this seemingly never ending journey. If you would have told me when I was sitting in a Toronto hospital in an eating disorder recovery program, that one day I would get to travel to Italy for work, and explore while eating a pizza the size of my head with my friends, I would have cringed at the thought; Not because I never wanted to go to Europe, but because in my mind, carbs were scary. Now? Damn do I love a good pizza🍕😉 I’m finally in a place where I can take a moment for what it is, without worrying about being debilitated by feelings of anxiety around food and exercise obsession. I have been out of recovery for years now, but I’m still putting in the work everyday to change my relationship with whatever is left of my eating disorder. Recovery has been the greatest ✨gift✨ I’ve ever given myself, and has ultimately taught me to celebrate the small ✨gifts✨ that I see on my path everyday. Please don’t forget to celebrate your wins; the big and the small. Recovery in anything isn’t linear, and is an ever changing process. I got your back🤍✨

I haven’t made a post like this in awhile, so here goes nothin’🤍✨ Lately, I’ve been finding myself comparing the way I’m currently living my life, to the way I used to live when anorexia/bulimia was dimming my light. To be honest, I think the changes in routine that come with travelling, trigger me to notice the differences between these two phases of my life, just because my way of existing back then is so drastically opposite of how I choose to exist now. On my latest adventures, I spent a lot of time thinking about how far I’ve come in this seemingly never ending journey. If you would have told me when I was sitting in a Toronto hospital in an eating disorder recovery program, that one day I would get to travel to Italy for work, and explore while eating a pizza the size of my head with my friends, I would have cringed at the thought; Not because I never wanted to go to Europe, but because in my mind, carbs were scary. 5 months✨ 15 countries✨ and countless broken guitar picks later, and my time on the @carnival Legend is wrapped!🤘🏻💋 This contract didn’t come without a few challenges here and there (thankfully I like challenges sometimes😂), but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life♥️ Couldn’t see myself making it to the finish line if I wasn’t surrounded by the talented/beautiful human beings that have made up our music team over the course of this European cruising season. We’ve accomplished a lot together over the last bit, and have so much to be proud of. Top 5 in the FLEET for MUSIC during a European season is wild!!!!! I’ve loved every second of smashing records, jamming and exploring with y’all✨ It’s one thing to have a job where you get to do what you love everyday all while seeing the world… It’s another when you’re able to do it all with your best friends; your chosen family♥️ Looking forward to what’s next… For now, I gotta go be a potato🥔, snuggle my giant ginger puppy dogs, and get my ‘lil guitar hands some TLC because I currently look like I do construction for a living😂💅🏻 Thanks to everyone who’s been following along with my adventures either online or in person by cruising with us, this season🛳️⚓️ See you on the next one💋

It was absolutely unreal to’ve been able to visit what was once one of the world’s most important cities… Ephesus was built in the 10th Century B.C. And is mentioned multiple times in the New Testament… I completely nerded out over this experience. Standing upon literal history, and walking through the exact walkways that Cleopatra, Alexander the Great, the Virgin Mary, and Apostle Paul walked through was absolutely wild. Thankful that we as humans have been given the opportunities and resources to honour the past♥️ We still have lots to learn I’m sure, but what we know, archaeologically about this place now, is incredible✨ I’ve never had so many pictures of rocks in my camera roll🙃🪨
